A Note on This Beer

A can of today’s Imperial IPA from Toppling Goliath weighs just over a pound — about the same as a pintail duck. And, as we learned in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, if it weighs the same as a duck then it is in fact... A WITCH!

Just kidding! This is Witch’s Broom, a hazed-up juicebomb that tastes so tropically delicious, there’s gotta be a little magic in there somewhere.

To make it, the crafty coven at Toppling Goliath let their cauldron bubble with Cashmere, Citra, Idaho-7, and Galaxy Hops. Every sip is like a juicy spell, enchanting the taste buds with massive flavors of dank melon, tangy tangerine, and ripe pineapple. On the finish, pithy grapefruit bitterness will hypnotize you into taking another sip.

Are the brewers really witches and warlocks? Maybe — TG just earned the title of #1 Brewery in the Country at the 2021 U.S. Open Beer Championships! That’s a tough trick to pull off without a little bit of sorcery.

If they are witches, they’re the good kind, like Glenda from The Wizard of Oz. And they’re using their latest witches brew to do a little extra good; a portion of all proceeds from this beer will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

So when you enjoy this potent potion, you don’t have to worry about turning into a newt. In fact, you’ll know that you’re spreading a little bit of good magic with every sip.

Toppling Goliath won 6 medals at the 2021 U.S. Open Beer Championships, earning the title of #1 Brewery in the Country!

not too hoppy and doesn't have that overwhelming pine taste that a lot of IPAs I've tried have. overall, probably one of the best IPAs I've ever had.

Smells like some grassy parsley devil's lettuce; Tastes like a double dry hopped sweet peach drip ditch. Son of a witch. Green and fresh.

Aesthetics: I'm all about the punk, witchy girl!!! 🔮🧹 Substance: smooth, hops are mild, which I appreciate. Rates decently for this IPA initiate.
