About This Beer
Modern Dansk is a yearly Wild Ale release from the Texas-based brew masters at Jester King. It draws inspiration from the legendary winemakers at Frederiksdal in Denmark, who create unexpected wines from incredibly acidic and tannic Stevnsbaer cherries. This fruit has double the sugar of a sweet cherry, and a deep, lucious aroma.
Tasting Notes
This is a masterfully executed Wild Ale — mildly funky and full of exquisitely balanced, unique complexity. Take a sip, and delicious flavors of Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, rich red velvet cake, and sweet-tart cherry candy dance across the palate.
