A Note on This Beer
Judging by this Alpine Style Pilsner, all signs say that Interboro and Burial Beer are Pilsner pros.
They’ve brewed this quenching collab for the last 3 years, and every single time it’s right on point. Fans like @jpbrooklyn say the brewers “hit the mark with an outstanding example of what a drinkable/sessionable, FLAVORFUL Pilsner should be. Without a doubt one of the finer bohemians I’ve had the pleasure of quaffing.”
To make Alpine Style, Interboro and Burial used a Pilsner malt base and a touch of kilned German malt. Then, they cold fermented it with ultra-smooth Lager yeast, so it’s extra crisp, clean, and drinkable.
The brewers added Mittelfruh and Saaz Hops to the boil, and a light dry-hopping of Tettnanger Hops to give Alpine Style a floral, citrusy complexity not commonly found in the Pilsners at your local market.
It tastes like Meyer lemon meringue spread over a warm, flaky biscuit with a light drizzle of raw honey!
There’s really no reason to settle for run-of-the-mill style Pilsners when you can have a taste of Alpine Style instead.
