The crew at Hubbard’s Cave has canned the essence of bananas foster with pinpoint accuracy. Every dessert-worthy pull of this Pastry Stout is bursting with sweetly ripened banana, while spicy cinnamon and sticky maple swirl together to recreate the caramelization that comes from lighting the dish on fire!

Rounding out each full-bodied and boozy 12% ABV sip are ribbons of vanilla and sweet lactose, taming the Imperial's heat like a dollop of ice cream atop a freshly flambéed plate.

Bananas dominates this beer. It's good, but it's all bananas. I didn't get a lot of maple or cinnamon, but I'm fine with that. It was a great beer nonetheless!

Pretty spot on if you've ever had the dessert...just imagine having that with a good stout. It is sweet but I was expecting that with it being Bananas Foster.

Sweet and syrupy, except it tasted like the artificial banana flavor used in candy was first smoked then added to the beer. It was difficult to drink. I would have preferred it to taste more like caramelized bananas.

Very sweet and syrupy body with a dominant banana and vanilla aroma. First sip was very sweet but my taste buds quickly acclimated. One of the most interesting stouts I've tried. Would buy again.

The banana comes through as a subtle flavor. It underlined the strong cinnamon and is almost overpowered by the sweetness. It is good but maybe a bit off balance. If you like sweetness I your may rate it higher.

I’ve never had the slightest interest in eating Bananas Foster, but I know better than to pass on a Hubbards Cave stout. This definitely exceeded my expectations. I wish I ordered more than 2. I’d liked it so much I may actually try eating the dessert!

Super sweet. Tastes and smells exactly like a Banana Foster. It does leave a weird bitter after taste though, which made the drink not that enjoyable.

Pours dark black without much foam. Cinnamon-vanilla-maple dominated the smell, like French toast! Feels thick and syrupy, taste mostly sweet with cinnamon, but a little bitter.
