Every Friday in 7th grade, my buddies and I would sneak away from Coach K.’s gym class to hit up the corner store. Then, stealthy as ninjas, we’d slip back to school and suck down colossal-size slurpees under the bleachers. Sure, I usually wound up with a brain freeze from trying to enjoy it all before the bell rang, but it was delicious, refreshing heaven! 

These days, I sneak away from my home office to go swipe small sips from the Junkyard Super Slurp brews in my fridge. Okay, make that huge sips. Though they come in 750ml cans the size of my face, they’re so fruity-smooth that I want to guzzle them down from the get-go!

Especially today’s Blueberry Raspberry Super Slurp.

Like all of Junkyard’s creations, this Fruited Sour’s from a small batch and I know I should really take the time to savor each lusciously thick, expertly crafted mouthful. But, it’s so scrumptiously tangy-sweet and packed with real fruit that I can’t help but chug!

The brewers made it with huge quantities of juicy blueberries and raspberries, plus a dose of creamy lactose. They even conditioned it on Madagascar vanilla for extra silky smoothness.

And, like me and my sneaky middle school crew, Junkyard knows a thing or two about taking risks for big, delectable gains. Thanks to a recent agreement reached with a certain big-name convenience store, this will be the last “Super Slurp” name from the brewers. That makes these cans collectibles! 

The nanobrewers at Junkyard are the top-rated brewery in the Fargo-Moorhead area on Yelp. Fans frequently make the 3.5-hour trek over from Minneapolis just for sips.
