A Note on This Beer
Imperial Stout fans are known to get a little flavor crazy, and Evil Twin and Westbrook have been the breweries to taking them to crazy town for years.
These breweries have teamed up on Dark Beers made with everything from Mexican cake to biscotti, but today’s 4.23 BA-rated Bozo Beer Imperial Pastry Stout is the epitome of Stout insanity.
It’s as thick as motor oil.
It has a larger-than-life 17.2% ABV.
And the brewers added everything sweet in a baker’s kitchen to hide the massive amount of booze. Bozo is brewed with marshmallows, chocolate, almonds, hazelnuts, molasses, lactose, vanilla beans, cinnamon, oak, chili peppers, muscovado sugar, chestnuts, and coffee! It tastes like you cut a slice off of every treat on a dessert buffet and blended them into a rich, robust Imperial Stout.
Invite over your biggest sweet-tooth friends and see if they can pick out each of the ingredients in this Bozo Beer.
Just remember to grab everyone’s car keys at the door. There’s no messing around with the strength of 17.2% ABV in a beer that sips like a 7-layer chocolate cake.
