A Note on This Beer
When Braxton Brewing announced a $5 million expansion at the end of 2019, Brewbound crowned them “one of the fastest-rising craft breweries in the nation!”
The brewery’s production is multiplying like bunnies because their juicebombs are so crave-worthy — they can’t seem to make enough to satisfy their fans.
Challenge yourself to downing a can of their Edge of Mysteries: Citra IPA, and see if you can resist reaching for another.
It’s so jammed-packed with nectar-thick, orange, mango, and pineapple hop-juice, one luscious, tropical sip leads to the next, which leads to the next — it’s hard to put it down!

Run-of-the-mill hazy

I mean, it’s a hazy IPA. It’s hoppy, it’s getting me buzzed ... what more needs to be said?

Big citrus and tropical aroma. Same tropical favor and a slight toasted malt sweetness. There is a slight off aftertaste, like when hops leave that soapy flavor which downgraded its rating.

When you think hazy, this is it

A grapefruit juice soaked sponge vaporized in your mouth. A slightly spicy citrus sea foam sticks around for a few seconds after each swig.

Citrusy and dank, but also syrupy and thick. Maybe exposed to too much heat in the warehouse.

Hazy and creamy. Strong orange flavor upfront, followed by a tangy grapefruit finish. Definitely hoppy, but smooth and easy to drink.

Better than others I’ve gotten, but again not worth a premium price.
