For this stunning rendition, the crew took their opulent base brew loaded with vanilla, Tugboat coffee, and Michigan maple syrup, then let it luxuriate for 18 months in rare antique Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye barrels.
Tasting Notes
Layers of nutty espresso fold into treacly molasses and creamy vanilla, while rich dark malts add fudgy chocolate notes. Hints of dried dates follow, colliding with a kiss of barrel char and spicy rye from the exquisite barrels.

good barrel aged with lots of complexity in flavors - lots of molasses and a hint of chart from the barrel, light cherry notes as well.

surprisingly thin stout, but strong on taste. The coffee punches you in the face (perfect!) and the maple is front and center BUT not overly sweet. I will buy a couple more if it rolls around.

really mild maple, and coffee. lots of good heat from the barrel. thin, but the flavor lasts.
