Practically every day as a kid, I would beg my mom to take us down to the diner so I could order my favorite: a banana split with all chocolate ice cream. Not surprisingly, she rarely obliged.

Even now, thinking about that delicacy gets my mouth watering.

Dipping into this Chocolate Banana Imperial Stout from Untitled Art, sent me back to that desserty diner down the street. With heaps of cacao nibs, real banana purée, and some silky lactose, this sipper has all the luscious sweetness of chocolate ice cream sandwiched between nutty banana slices.

Since I got my hands on a stash for Tavour, I’ve been “trying it” nearly every day — trying it for dessert, trying it in the afternoon sun, trying it as an ice cream beer float... and no mom’s approval needed! Sounds pretty awesome, right?
