About This Beer
The legendary brewers crafted this beauty with a blend of two Double Barrel Aged Stouts. One half spent a year in one freshly-emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrel before being transferred to a single Buffalo Trace rye cask for 24 more months. The other matured for nine months in a Willett Family Estate bourbon barrel before aging for a further 18 months in just one Phantom Spirits rum barrel.
Then the duo conditioned the blend on “an insane amount” of Vanuatu vanilla beans, maple syrup, and fruity, natural-process Brazilian coffee.
Tasting Notes
This decadent brew pours thick and sweet, yet remains shockingly balanced. Like an expertly-baked maple brownie, each fudgy sip opens up into layers of dark chocolate and espresso with oaky caramel undertones.
