When it comes to craft beer, the first country that leaps to mind probably isn’t Sweden. But for fans of Omnipollo, that’s where the action is! This beloved gypsy brewery grew from the heads of brewer Henok Fentie and artist/graphic designer Karl Grandin, back in 2010. That might sound like a strange collaboration, and it sure shook up the beer world! From their Aon Pecan Mud Cake Pastry Stout, to their Fatamorgana IPA, to their Levon Belgian Pale Ale and Bianca Mango Lassi Gose, Omnipollo’s stable of innovative craft beers have found plenty of fans (and imitators) across Europe and North America. Hype: Omnipollo’s flagship Nebuchadnezzar IPA was named best beer in Sweden twice, and it appeared on HuffPost’s list of 30 IPAs you need to drink before you die.
