A Note on This Beer
Back in the day, one ‘A’ on my report card = one scoop of ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. It might be the reason I ended up doing pretty well in school.
If I scored even 3 A’s, I could get a scoop of passionfruit, pineapple, AND guava sorbet and mix them all together! A winning combo!
Now that I’m all grown up, I get my favorite tropical treat in beer form with today’s 4.29 UT-rated Citra Cloud Curtain from Mountains Walking. It’s delightfully tangy, fluffy as a puppy, and just plain fantastic!
As part of Mountains Walking’s Oat Whip IPA series, this plush hop treat brings ‘mouthfeel’ to the next level. The brewers use enormous amounts of oats in the base, and a dash of Pilsner malt, and a pinch of wheat for a hugely thick, silky-smooth body that’s practically impossible to resist.
To juice up the oat-packed base, Mountains Walking double-dry hops this Cloud Curtain with 7 lbs of Citra Hops per barrel. Massive bursts of mangoes, tangerines, and nectarines rolled in whipped cream rush the palate, with hints of OJ and whispers of pine leading to the finish.
You don’t have to show me your report card to earn your share of Citra Cloud Curtain. You just have to hit the ‘Get It’ button, before everybody else does!
