A Note on This Beer
Junkyard Brewing may be a nanobrewery with a penchant for teeny-tiny batch sizes and limited releases, but make no mistake — these Midwest brewers are all about going BIG.
Big Hops! The brewers stuffed today’s Clearly Obscure New England IPA to the brim with Centennial, Galaxy, and Mosaic Hops for hugely lush tropicality. Did we mention that it comes in a supersized 750ml can, too?
Big Flavors! Every mouthful of Clearly Obscure floods the palate in waves of juicy passionfruit, red berries, and orange citrus. There’s even some pine resin that wafts in on the finish. And, it’s all wrapped in a big 8% ABV!
Big Following! Junkyard brought back Clearly Obscure due to its popularity with their giant fanbase! Their flavorful brews and loyalty to their community of craft guzzlers is why they’re the Twin Cities’ Best Suburban Brewery! That's pretty crazy for a brewery that's actually 3.5 hours away in Moorhead, but City Pages decided it made sense considering how many Minneapolis craft fans make the long trek.
Craft sipper @Josh C. lays down why: “Straight to the point — Junkyard is wonderful.”
One sip of Clearly Obscure is all it takes to realize Josh is right. It might be time now to look into bigger beer fridges; the love for Junkyard comes on fast and BIG.
