Anthony Bourdain was known for many things: his ever-growing canvas of tattoos, his love of Asian cuisine, his foul mouth -- but it was his adventurous culinary palate that inspired the brewers at Barebottle to create today’s Coconut Confidential.

Taking cues from Bourdain’s travels, Coconut Confidential features flavors that pay homage to his favorite countries and cuisine. Flaked coconut and sliced ginger highlight his fondness for Southeast Asia. Hints of vanilla and macaroon harken back to the tiny town in France where he first discovered his love of food.

Like Bourdain’s desire to seek out enticing dishes from all over the world, Barebottle is experimenting with delectable flavor combinations that are intentionally unexpected. Coconut Confidential was brewed in honor of the ‘Maverick Food Porn Poet’ with the hope that he would have appreciated its foray into unknown flavor terrain.

A portion of the proceeds from every can sold goes to benefit the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
