About This Beer
For this collab, Allagash teamed up with the award-winning Crown & Hops. Each brewery brought one of their beers to the table — Allagash brought their renowned Curieux bourbon barrel-aged Tripel and C&H their 8 Trill Pils. Then they blended them together for a crisp, unique sip.
Tasting Notes
Rich nuances of honey, whiskey-kissed creme anglaise, and clove lead into bread crust and delicate herbs. Swirls of vanilla oak carry underneath culminating in a snappy, Lager finish.

A clean, light lager that finishes with a Belgiany, barrel-aged kick in the pants. This is fun. I hope it’s not just a one-off – I’d like to try this on draft.

Notes of honey and vanilla with a light whisky note. A little bit of oak to tickle the palate. A nice lite collaboration of lager and whiskey with a tad of sweetness.

Pale gold pour. Tight, pillowy white head. Sweet, biscuity malt aroma hints at yeast and vanilla. Flavor upfront brings notes of vanilla, oak, lemon peel and a wisp of funk. Some spicy hops on backend hint at white peppercorns. Very tasty.

Not a pilsner fan but this one... I could drink this one over and over. Taste a little like a Whit, lil like a Belgium.
