About This Beer
These bottles are designed for aging up to a full decade! I’m going to stash one away for my 11 year old nephew and share it with him on his 21st birthday! If I can wait that long.
It’ll be tough to resist opening this bottle on day one.
Tasting Notes
This stuff sips shockingly smooth for such a boozy brew, with huge aromas of baker’s chocolate and hints of toffee and date. It all leads to a surprisingly dry finish that’s dangerously sippable!
Stash it away for a year (or ten) and the fudgy flavors will become even more layered and nuanced as the brew becomes more and more approachable.

Carmel, smooth, lack of 15% bite.

I wanted to like this one more than i did. Tastes like just the cookie
half of an
Oreo… chocolate biscuit, and not a ton else. Really hides the ABV well, but was a bit one note
with bitter chocolate

Dry and chocolaty, with a warm coffee finish. easy to drink. Definitely a beer to drink when you want to wind down and enjoy the evening in your favorite chair.

Good for a porter. But not Amazing. Reminds me of a Russian Imperial Stout.

Lovely smell of dark fruits at the start. Well tempered sweetness blends with the porter and bourbon-barrel aging.
