About This Beer
The team of Coloradan mad scientists wanted to create a better Belgian — one with more booze, more barrel, and even more flavor than the average Dubbel. So they took their base beer and aged it in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels to reap flavors of charred oak and vanilla. Then, they took the burgeoning beauty and aged it again in Colorado Whiskey Barrels.
Tasting Notes
IT’S ALIVE, IT’S ALIVE — and it’s absolutely bursting with layers of candied fig and toffee. Bittersweet cacao notes help bring out the sweetness of the malts and help obscure the frighteningly smooth 13.4% ABV.

High ABV without the burn. Taste of barrels very obvious. Wildly successful brew.

Another hit from River North. Traditional dubbel flavors collide with a ton of smokey, woodsy barrel flavors creating a really unique drinker. Creativity in beer form.
