To craft Double Barrel Aged King Size, Junkyard barrel aged their already-impressive Imperial Peanut Stout in two rounds of freshly-emptied Willett bourbon barrels for a total of 15 months in oak.
Tasting Notes
Massive peanut butter cup aromas arise from its inky pour. Cocoa and peanut jointly rule the realm, with each full-bodied sip crowned by the magisterial tones of bourbon. Smooth, vanilla threads through the rich and roasty base, with a nip of boozy nuttiness lingering in the finish.
