About This Beer
Anytime is a good time to enjoy this silky smooth, breakfast-inspired brew — as a midnight snack, an afternoon pick me up, or a showstopper at the bottle share. That’s because the legendary PDX crew doused their rich base with Mostra coffee and decadent swirls of maple syrup!
Tasting Notes
The dark pour smells just like a trip to IHOP, and the sip follows with gorgeous ribbons of molasses cascading through notes of fresh espresso and roasty malts. The only thing stopping you from slathering a stack of flapjacks with this brew is not wanting to waste a drop of the boozy 11% ABV!

This is the first maple beer that blew me away. My wife could smell the maple syrup from a room away.

Artificial disharmonious flavors with an offputting bitterness.

Amazing. Super maple syrup pancake flavors, thick, sweet, easy to drink. The maple smell was so strong when I opened it that other people in the room noticed. Wish I ordered more!

Amazing notes here of sweet maple syrup, dark bready and toasty pancakes, black rich coffee, and even some deliciously strong booze.

Nice, velvety coffee flavor, with a hint of maple-soaked pancakes. I'd like a stronger maple and pancake flavor, but on second thought, this might make it too sweet. Pretty damn good!

Surprised this got the rating it did. While it was drinkable the idea of putting Caramel color in the beer was a turnoff. Maybe this happens more than I realize with brewers but overall the beer was underwhelming.

medium body and a touch heavy on carb for the style. but tastes exactly how i remember from years ago maple is not overly sweet and it's balanced with medium bold roast coffee throughout. ends in a pleasant bitter note.
