For this version, they cranked the ABV up to a whopping 19.4% ABV and let it mature in Laws Bourbon barrels for extra depth.
Tasting Notes
Rich ribbons of caramel course through every sip, with surprisingly delicate estery fruit nuances and hints of clove accentuating the malts. Lingering notes of whiskey-oak and vanilla dot the finish, leaving behind barely any trace of that big ABV.

Tastes more like a barleywine with the heavy bourbon and caramel flavors, but very smooth. Wouldn't identify this as a tripel. Shocked this is almost 20% ABV
