A Note on This Beer
As a kid, I often wondered what clouds taste like. What if you could scoop one right out of the sky? Would it taste like cotton candy? Or a swirl of melted marshmallow?
Nah — I bet a fluffy cloud would taste just like today’s Imperial IPA, El Dorado Cloud Curtain.
The craft geniuses at Mountains Walking brewed this soft-as-a-baby’s-cheeks IPA with Pilsner malt, wheat, and 50% oats in the base. Then, they double-dry hopped it with almost 7lbs per barrel of El Dorado Hops! That’s more than TWICE the amount you’d see in a typical IPA!
Each lush, smooth, and ridiculously creamy mouthful drenches the palate in notes of juicy watermelons and pears. The Pilsner malt adds a subtle sweetness, while the velvety oats bring this brew as close to sipping on a cloud as you can get!
Every one of MW’s signature “Oat Whip” IPAs is stellar, garnishing 4+ reviews on Tavour — and we know your discerning palates don’t just give out high ratings willy-nilly!
So, if you’re ready to taste the latest rendition in their rotating, single-hop, thirst-quenching series, you know what to do!
