A Note on This Beer
The trend-setting brewers at Birds Fly South have been quietly amassing an arsenal of award-winning brews for years. They were even crowned one of the Top 10 Breweries in the country at the U.S. Open Beer Championship!
And today’s your chance to snag the 2021 vintage of one of Birds Fly South’s most popular annual releases: Wolves In The Piano Russian Imperial Stout!
To craft it, the BFS crew started with a deep, roasty Stout swirling with cocoa-y complexity. Then they fermented it with one gallon per barrel of rich Michigan maple syrup for molasses-like nuances and subtle sweetness.
It’s like an extra espresso-y dark chocolate mocha paired with cocoa covered raisins with a bit of dried cherry on the finish.
But, we have just over 20 cases of this limited release. Miss it now, and you’ll likely have to wait a year to get a taste of one of South Carolina’s best!
