About This Beer
Humble Forager crafted Fishing with Horus with, you guessed it, California’s Horus Aged Ales! It overflows with 1,000 lbs of toasted coconut, 1,000 lbs of roasted hazelnuts, premium coffee beans, and ooey-gooey maple syrup. It tastes just like a mile-high stack of pancakes, with a 13% ABV!
Tasting Notes
On the forefront, sweet and nutty hazelnut delights the taste buds. After each smoother-than-soft-serve mouthful settles on the tongue, hints of candied coconut, caramelized brown sugar, rich espresso, and luxurious maple bring about a complex decadence.

a little boozy and thin, but lots of coffee and maple syrup

just doesn’t have the same harmony as a Horus. too sweet and doesn’t blend with the rest of the beer well

very nutty. I did not think this with maple was overly sweet. if anything a bit bitter because of the nuts and coffee. but otherwise a good stout.

maple somewhat overtakes other adjuncts. nice nutty notes. perfect thickness.

This one is interesting. There are tastes of coffee (not overpowering), maple syrup and subtle hazelnut. Unfortunately, there is a significant alcohol bite that takes away from the complexity of the ingredients

sweet, sticky hoppy

Perfectly balanced nuttiness and coffee. The maple is just enough and not too sweet. Really delicious!
