About This Beer
Junkyard crafted this brew in collaboration with their friends at Hornbacher’s grocery store, who baked the cake for the project. The first batch was so successful, they had to bring it back for another run!
Tasting Notes
Just like a slice of angel food cake, it’s light and soft-bodied. Soaring fruit flavors course through every sip, along with just a bit of tartness, like a particularly tangy berry. The finish is beautifully smooth, with an almost silky texture, like the last bit of fresh cream licked from the spoon.

Meh. I expected more strawberry and more cake here based on reviews. There's a weird aftertaste too that seems to fade as it sits a bit. It's not awful but I wouldn't buy again.

I'm not a fan of fruited sours, so I'm not rating it, but, the sour tends to overpower. I do have to say, that, the aftertaste feels like you just ate some strawberry cake. It smells very sour, and a little bit of strawberries.
