About This Beer
The brewers raised this stunning creature on fresh and aged hops, locally-grown Texas grain, and their own well water. After a first fermentation in stainless steel, they aged it in neutral oak for a year. Then the crew fed it a whopping 6 lbs of marionberries per gallon!
Finally, JK loaded the tart brew into gin barrels to mature for nine more months.
Tasting Notes
Gin Barrel Nocturn Chrysalis flutters with aromas of heady brambleberry, herbal, and mildly earthy funk. A lemony brightness weaves throughout each mouthful, dancing over ripe fruit nuances and juniper in this refreshingly dry, effervescent sipper. The gin’s botanical notes harmonize beautifully with the marionberry, never overwhelming it.
