About This Beer
For Grim Harvest, the celebrated crew created a wort brewed with west Texas barley and wheat, Hill Country well water, and both fresh and aged hops. Then they fermented it with the second-use marion blackberries that were first used for Nocturn Chrysalis.
Tasting Notes
The brilliant result is a tangy, bramble fruit-infused sipper that reveals the funky base. Restrained berry tones lift the hay and barrel nuances, giving it an almost wine-like quality. And each effervescent taste leads to an incredibly refreshing dry finish.

Rich burgundy hue. Very little head or lacing. Strong scent of barnyard funk and tangy blackberry. Farmhouse funkiness is the dominant flavor, with the blackberry not as strong as anticipated. Dry and mildly astringent. A very nice farmhouse ale that could easily do without the blackberry, as it does not add very much fruitiness, sweetness, or tang.
