A Note on This Beer
Welcome! And thanks for tuning in to another episode of Tavour’s Drunk History.
*Slurps another sip of today’s Honey Holiday Imperial Milk Stout*
Alright, let’s begin.
So, women are kicking ass and making a comeback in craft brewing nowadays. And I say “comeback” very specifically because, did you know they, like, invented beer?
It’s true!
Ask the historians over at Pink Boots Society, the non-profit champions that educate and empower female brewers, and they’ll tell you all about it.
*Takes a swig of the decadent dark chocolate pour, made with real freakin’ honey*
I mean, take this beer, for example. This dangerously smooth, 11% ABV treat.
Sure, it’s a limited-release collab between one of HopCulture’s Top 8 Breweries in St. Louis, 2nd Shift Brewing, and the Pink Boots Society.
But it’s also a revolution in a glass, man! 100% of the proceeds from this brand new pour go directly to the local non-profit chapter!
And that’s a big deal because, if you really study society, beer has a huge impact on our culture.
*Burp*
So, this is your chance to decide what mark you want to leave:
Are you gonna just drink any ol’ freakin’ beer, or are you gonna etch your name into the craft community by choosing a beer that’s elevating the next movers-and-shakers!?
*Cracks open another can of Honey Holiday and raises it high*
I say *Cheers!* to Pink Boots and craft beer!
2nd Shift donates 100% of the proceeds from today’s beer directly to the St. Louis Pink Boot Society Chapter!
