A Note on This Beer
Every time I hear Bob Marley’s sweet and soulful voice, I swear I’m hypnotized. I start drumming on anything in sight and trying to persuade my wife to move to Jamaica.
Well, Barebottle’s new Hazy Pale Ale might as well be a long lost Marley song, because after one sip of Hypnotic Tropics I was belting out the lyrics, “don’t worry ‘bout a thing!”
With a golden pour like the Caribbean sunshine and a sweet symphony of fruit flavors, this brew whisks me away on a musical daydream.
The GABF medalists at Barebottle let Idaho 7, Mosaic, and Chinook shine in a glorious hop trio that lulls me into relaxation with whispers of apricot jam sweetness and keeps my hands drumming with a ping of pineapple citrus.
As hypnotisms go, this one is pretty benign. This brew won’t make you squawk like a chicken or hop on one foot. But, you just might find yourself whistling along to the tune, “every little thing, gonna be alright!”
