When Paste Mag tried River North’s Sandman in their blind Imperial Stout taste test, it beat out 100 other beers. As they put it, “the execution was borderline perfect.” 

Enter today’s Irish Whiskey Barrel Mr. Sandman — River North’s boozier, even higher-rated rendition of their fan-adored Sandman Stout. This decadent Dark Beer clocks an ‘outstanding’ 94/100 on BA!  

It has all the roastiness and molasses-like caramelization that impressed Paste Mag’s judges, with added layers of oaky vanilla, Irish whiskey sweetness, and a touch of barrel char. All those decadent flavors roll right over the incredible 12.5% ABV, softening it into super smooth drinkability.

@Colts9016 calls this whiskey variation “far better than the original,” and an absolute “must-try for Stout lovers.”
