A Note on This Beer
Jack Rabbit Slim’s is a weird, over-the-top ‘50s themed restaurant. John Travolta’s Vincent Vega describes it as “a wax museum with a pulse” in the movie Pulp Fiction.
I bet our boy Vince would have sung a much more praising tune if he got to know today’s much livelier Jack Rabbit Slim’s NEIPA!
This brew is the latest release in Junkyard Brewing’s highly limited Pulp Fiction series. You better believe massively juicy flavors make for an experience infinitely more delightful than being served by a Buddy Holly impersonator.
Those Minnesota nanobrewers positively LOADED this hazy sipper with Citra and Vic Secret Hops! Each sip explodes with pineapple, sweet lemon, and passionfruit flavors, punctuated with a whiff of pine on the finish.
Plus, unlike the movie restaurant’s boozeless but expensive shakes, today’s tasty beverage does come with an 8.7% ABV! Junkyard serves it up in a massive 750ml-sized can, so you might just find yourself breaking out in your own gleeful, Vince and Mia-inspired jive by the end of it.
I’m sure it’d be a trophy-winning dance, too. But, who needs trophies when you have this prize of an IPA that isn’t leaving Minnesota except for right here?
