About This Beer
To create today’s JCVD That’s a Chunky the brewers aged a malty base beer in Blis maple bourbon barrels for 2.5 years. Then they transferred the brew to Eastern Kille bourbon barrels for another year and lunched it up with additions of peanuts and grape juice. They even topped it off with a dose of cacao nibs for extra decadence.
Tasting Notes
Imagine a classic PB&J with a swirl of chocolate frosting and a dollop of maple syrup, and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what’s in store. As long as you also chase it with a swig of top shelf bourbon.
