About This Beer
For the newest vintage of their Imperial Stout collab, the Transient and Magnanimous crews aged a chocolatey base in Blanton’s bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
The whiskey-soaked oak imbued the medium-bodied brew with delicate vanilla nuances, added a mellow caramel sweetness to its roasty character, and provided plenty of boozy spice. Hints of clove and nutmeg linger in the finish while the 12.5% ABV warms your belly.

Loved this. Past Transient brews I’ve had were over flavored IMO, but this one was just a clean, big stout that packed a punch. Loved the elegant bottle design, too.

Lots of chocolate and caramel flavors. The stout base blends well with the barrel-aging.
