About This Beer
The crew at Forgotten Road started this portable potable off with a rich, malty base, then aged it in a trifecta of oak. First it slumbered in a wheated bourbon barrel for 22 months, then spent 12 months in a maple liquor cask, and finally dozed 6 more months in a rum maple barrel. And they finished it off with even more maple syrup!
Tasting Notes
As you’d expect, every sip of M 3rd 25th Darkest Days drips with luscious flapjack flavors. Hints of bourbon and rum add complexity on the way to a fudgy finish. And you’ll barely even notice the big 14.2% ABV.
