A Note on This Beer
When the folks at White Elm first whipped up the imperial version of their “Double Stuffed” Cookie Sandwich Stout, they knew exactly what to name it.
“Wow! Oreo in a glass!” Said local sipper @Joe A. The beer flowed thick and delicious, and all seemed right in the world.
Then, the lawyers showed up.
The Nebraska brewers had to think of a new title for the bold, velvety-sweet treat loaded with chocolate and cream cookie sandwiches. Not one to back down from playfully titling their brew, they landed on this, today’s MEGA C&D (Cease and Desist).
With a new name and a fresh batch, fans came out in droves once more, giving resounding praise to the 12.5% ABV dessert in a glass!
“Best response to a Cease and Desist ever, thanks White Elm!” Said @Joe F., with @Agron C. even alluding to its hopeful brewtastic future: “I hope they BA this ice cream drizz!”
The beer once again flowed from the tap and into cans, and now, it flows from the can to your doorstep.
And all seems right in the world.
