A Note on This Beer

Mosaic Cloud Curtain is delightfully sweet, fluffy as heck, and just plain fantastic!

As part of Mountains Walking’s Oat Whip IPA series, this plush hop treat brings ‘mouthfeel’ to the next level! The brewers use enormous amounts of oats in the base, alongside a ribbon of lactose for a hugely thick, silky-smooth body that’s practically impossible not to love.

To juice up the velvety, oat-packed base, Mountains Walking double-dry hops this Cloud Curtain with 7 lbs of Mosaic Hops per barrel. That’s twice the amount of hops in your average IPA! Massive bursts of peaches and nectarines rolled in whipped cream rush the palate. Lush OJ and whispers of pine lead to the finish.

Not to mention, the brew is surprisingly crushable for an 8.5% ABV IPA.

I can see myself laid back on the lawn chair now, Mosaic Cloud Curtain in one hand, a burger in the other, and warm, summer sunshine beaming down from above. Like I said, fantastic!

*Montana hop fiends are all about Mountains Walking, whose head brewer honed his skills at New York’s esteemed Other Half!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

Not too hoppy, good balance. Juicy and a little boozy but it is a imperial. Would buy again.

It was surprisingly good. I would give it a solid 4 for the flavors and the high Abv. Would get 3-4 again in future.

One of better beers in my shipment. Nice fluffy body, good hop flavor, fruity, with a nice feel. Only a little stale from storage and shipping.

This beer is unbelievably refreshing & juicy for a 2xIPA. Montana does many things right - this brewery does em perfectly.

The nose is wonderful, but the beer doesn’t quite live up to it. A tad bitter at the front, creating into a citrus wave and then back to a bitter finish. The mouthfeel is a little thick. It’s a solid IPA, but others in this months crate made me happier.

Incredible, as are all the IPAs I’ve had from Mountains Walking. The fluffiness of the Cloud Curtain series is present and delightful as usual. As for the single-hop versions of these beers, I do prefer the Mosaic to the Citra.

Super smooth oat cream based IPA with Lactose. I mean, can you put anything more awesome in a NEIPA?! Oh right, huge amounts of Mosaic. I’m seriously regretting only 2 of these.

Creamy and sweet up front, subtle flavor hints at tropical, but fades quickly to dank resin. Light bitterness comes through as it finishes.
