A Note on This Beer
Junkyard Brewing is over three hours away from the Twin Cities in the small town of Moorehead, MN, but that doesn’t stop their fans from making the trip for fresh releases.
It’s all perfectly reasonable once you get a taste of brews like Murky Dimensions. This beauty of a NE-style Hazy boasts hugely resinous tropical fruit flavors from Azacca and Denali Hops.
Each sip goes down pillowy-soft, with bright bursts of ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, and lingering pineapple flavors. Glimmers of fresh pine and lemon zest ebb and flow throughout. It’s like diving straight into a hazy ocean of juice, making lush discoveries along the way.
Plus, it comes in a massive 750ml can! I’m not talking about a regular crowler that’s meant to be popped open soon after you get it — I mean an actual canning line-sealed container that just so happens to be bigger than your face.
I snatch up whatever Junkyard hopbombs I can lay a finger on. Though, it sure ain’t easy with their obsessive Twin Cities-area fans. And, since the brewery sits just across the river from Fargo, North Dakota, they’ve built up quite the following in that state too.
