A Note on This Beer
When Craft Beer & Brewing reviewed today’s Obligatory IPA from Transient Artisan Ales, they scored it 92/100 with top marks in the ‘Flavor’ category.
“The aroma continues into the flavor with melon, peach, mango, complex grapefruit, and lemon notes,” they raved. “The end is dry and punchy.” As usual, the crew at CB&B nailed it.
In the ‘Appearance’ category, Obligatory didn't do quite as well. Apparently the judges didn’t love the color. But honestly, the way beer looks has never been all that important to me.
It’s not like I’m going to take a pint down to Home Depot and try to get a matching paint color for my living room. I MIGHT post a shot on Instagram, but you know what my buddies will ask when they see it?
“What does it taste like?”
Because beer is for drinking! When it comes to how much I like a beer, my tongue is the only judge that matters, and my taste buds are head-over-heels in LOVE with this Citra and Columbus Hopped beauty!.
This brew might not get you quite as many Instagram likes as a crazy green brew with lots of wacky ingredients. But, if you’re looking for a one-way ride to tasty town, Obligatory has your taste buds covered.
