It was a sweltering afternoon in midsummer. My friends and I sat lethargically on my front porch, spraying each other intermittently with squirt guns to keep cool.

Then we heard it. The heavenly chimes of the ice cream man. We couldn’t get to that truck full of sweet relief fast enough.

With every satisfying sip of today’s Imperial Milkshake IPA, that childhood memory comes flooding back to me. 

Mountains Walking crafted Opaque Thoughts - Orange Creamsicle with their buddies at Good Word Brewing & Public House in Georgia. They conditioned it on zesty oranges, sweet vanilla beans, and lactose, so it’s tart and thick, with a sweet n’ tangy finish.  

I feel like I’m slurping up a delectable orange creamsicle milkshake! Each cool, refreshing sip is like white water rafting through a river of oranges and vanilla, and feeling the spray of the waves against my skin.

Now that I’ve got a few cans of this creamsicle dream in my fridge, I can hardly wait for the next scorching hot day! This time, I’m prepared.
