About This Beer
The Tart Deco series is one of TALEA’s earliest and most beloved series. Their Sour IPAs with milk sugars and a whole bushel of fruits capture the essence of “approachability” that TALEA embodies. This particular Tart Deco comes with a bramble of raspberries, blackberries, passion fruit, as well as a sprinkling of Cashmere Hops and creamy milk sugar to round out the tartness of the sip.
Tasting Notes
A zing of fruit juice hits the palate right away. Waves of fruit flavors mingle with the velvety lactose and splashes of lemon-lime brightness from the hops. The finish lingers on the cheek with a hint of berry tartness and a satisfying, almost vanilla-like sweetness.

Wasn’t hoppy at all. More like just a sour

Kinda surprised this doesn’t have a higher rating. Well to hell with the masses. It’s an amazingly good beer. Both equal parts sour and an IPA. probably why the purists are mad. hahahaha

very far from my style. fun experiment, but tastes like a cbd/hemp beer.

I thought this one was really good. Definitely not Super forward on the IPA, which may be a turn off. But the passion fruit really shines here

So initially I was expecting a bit of bitterness since IPA is in the name after all, but after trying this Sour IPA I can say that it definitely leans on the sour side a lot more than that of an IPA. the berry taste is VERY present and there’s just an ever so slight hoppy taste, but nothing a true IPA drinker would even be interested in. overall has a great taste but will not please the IPA crowd.

Great fruit flavor profile and the perfect mix of tart and sweet.

Way better than the rating suggests. Balanced between sour and hoppy.

there’s definitely some fruity flavor here, but I didn’t find it quite as flavorful as I expected, though it was still tasty.

very sour, but also refreshing.

more of a simple sour and not a sour ipa

For a sour IPA I expected more bitterness. Sour from fruits taste devine.

Mostly tart with the sourness covering other flavors. Pretty refreshing though.

First time trying a sour IPA, not disappointed.
