About This Beer
Being that this is the 9th batch of U55, you can bet Jester King loves to make this beer. While their Flanders-style Red ale brings an exemplary flavor profile, it’s the careful 24-month maturation in oak that really elevates it. But that’s no surprise – Jester King regularly tops even themselves with their incredibly popular and beloved beer series.
Tasting Notes
If opened right away, the Pilsner and Caramel Malts bring out sips that are crisp and live with floral flavors, swirling with notes of dark fruit and caramel. The barrels add an oaky, spice-fueled backend that are likewise oh-so-satisfying. But cellar it for a while, and you’ll find a mellowed body with deeper, even more complex notes with a sophisticated, leathery finish.
