About This Beer
Every sip of this Imperial Stout is like a tour across Africa!
To craft it, the 4 Hands crew teamed up with friends at Sump Coffee. The duo used only single origin ingredients –– Ethiopian coffee rife with berry notes, Tanzanian cacao nibs brimming with jammy nuances, luscious blueberries to accentuate the fruity notes in both, and whole Madagascar vanilla beans to brighten it all up.
Tasting Notes
Imagine taking a bite of a decadent, dark chocolate bar laced with blueberries. Thick and creamy cascades of cocoa and fruit lead each quaff with rich, roasty coffee rising on the end –– all hiding a 10.5% ABV!

Little thin. Coffee dominates with some blueberry as it warms. Not much chocolate or vanilla coming through. (Regular vs BA: regular has coffee dominate vs BA has barrel dominate)

Coffee and Vanilla flavors dominate the taste followed by a subtle blueberry aftertaste. The execution works perfectly where the blueberry doesn't feel out of place.

A bit thin with zero head retention. Flavors work well together, but definitely a coffee stout. ABV is very well hidden.

Nice coffee and chocolate notes. Nice bitterness that blends with the vanilla.
