A Note on This Beer

Cellador packed 2 lbs per gallon of juicy, hand-smashed peaches into today’s Slide Down My Cellar Door Wild Ale. Like the brewers describe, every gushing gulp tastes like “being on the farm and biting into a freshly picked peach!”

And, not just any farm, but Cellador’s beloved Masumoto — an organic and sustainable family-run operation mere hours away from the brewery’s California taproom.

They say Masumoto’s fruit explodes with an “iconic juicy flavor.” Especially the family’s most-flavorful Gold Dust peaches, which Cellador used in today’s brew!

With each effervescent sip, lemony pops of funkiness from wild yeast and additions of real honey balance the drippy-peach succulence. It tastes like the brewers poured the fresh flavors of summer right into the bottle!

As you can imagine, Slide Down is a crowd favorite. Local sippers rate the last version 4.27 on UT, and @Bryce H. even calls it, “the most vibrant peach beer I had ever had.”

Plus, this is the very first time this Wild Ale is available to craft fans outside Cellador’s taproom!

With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!

It's alright. I generally like fruited beers and sours, I've found that there's a fine line between either being too fruity or too sour. This drink is mostly starting out with sour that comes up with a small hint of peach that get stronger the more you drink

You can taste the peach, but it is very tart as far as sours go.

Wow. Shard this with my sour-lovers and we really wanted to like it. Way too sour and sadly tasted like vinegar.

The peach flavor is pronounced and delicious, but it’s still overshadowed a little by the sourness. For all the hype about those peaches I wanted them to be front and center. Let this beer warm up a little, and the tartness begins to mellow. I had it with some stinky, funky cheese and it made for a great pairing.

It’s a little to sour for my taste but it is a flavor journey. Dry to citrus to peach to light honey

Pucker up- this one is sour! Subtle peach and honey notes, but there is no missing the bite. Cheers!

Very sour with candy and some funk, but not quite enough peach for me.

Tart aromas. Very sour, wild ale hit with the initial sip, but a very, very pleasant sweet aftertaste from the peaches and honey. The aftertaste is what’s the most worth it in my opinion. Otherwise it might be too tart for sour drinkers. It could use some more barrel aging to soften some more.

This was waaaay too sour. The sourness totally overpowered all of the flavor, unfortunately.

The peaches really add to the tartness of the farmhouse ale. Very good.
