They doused their luxurious fan-favorite Oatmeal Stout with 1 gallon of real, robust Vermont Maple Syrup per barrel for uber potent maple magic. Then, they aged it for 9 months in award-winning Bourbon Barrels from Four Roses and Woodford Reserve!

We got this from Tavour. Chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass. Snowed in on a rainy snowy evening, so the stouty characters were what we were hoping for. Look: black with a small half finger size tan head that died away almost immediately. There was no lacing. It looked syrupy. There was an unpleasant residual from the pour on the top, a slimy left over probably from the canning wand. We fished it out with a spoon. Not good at all. Smell: roasty and sweet with hints of bourbon barrel. As it warmed we started to get a bit of maple, but honestly were hoping for more. Taste: roast, sweet dark chocolate, bourbon, booze and more roast. The end is a bit odd, Bren said bacon which made me look at her funny and say NO, but she insisted so I put it in here... I got no bacon, just saying. As it warmed we were hoping for maple because if you say maple on the can it should taste like maple, just saying. Feel: syrupy with some decent carbonation, the booze is a bit drying and makes you want to go back for something to chase off the dry Snowed in is their thing, but if maple is on the can, make it taste like maple not just bourbon barrel smokey sweet goodness... not quite what we were hoping for. Cheers anyway I guess!
