About This Beer
The JK crew modeled this beer after the traditional Gueuze-style Ales of Belgium.
It starts with Jester King’s own well water, Texas malted barley, raw wheat, and hops aged in the barn on their sprawling farm. After brewing, the team naturally inoculated the wort with wild yeast from the open air, then left it to ferment in oak barrels for months before refermenting with blueberries and pitaya (another name for dragon fruit).
Tasting Notes
Sweet kiwi-pear pitaya flavors and balancing bursts of ripe blueberries blend with the tangy, oak-aged Farmhouse base beer. Sip after sip of delightfully bright, nuanced bliss comes to a tart, dry finish, like a crisp white wine!

Lovely sour with bold blueberry that lends a tart and sweet hand to the full bodied brew.

absolutely fantastic sour. did a tasting with a buddy and this was the best of the bunch. blueberry and pitaya came through without being too tart or acidic.

Took a couple of sips before tasting the fruit. Enjoyed drinking this.

Very tart and quite sour. The sour overpowers anything else going on, even leaving a bit of an aftertaste.

could have used some more time in bottle.
