About This Beer

I wasn’t much of an athlete growing up. To me, the best part of any soccer game was snack time! I especially loved the fruit cups and the syrupy sweet juice at the bottom.

Now that I’ve hung up my soccer cleats, I don’t eat Dole cups like I used to. But the brewers at Block 15 have crafted an IPA to help hopheads like me relive their glory days with Sticky Hands Fruit Cup.

Lupulin lovers are bound to start drooling at the list of hops used in this brew: Belma, El Dorado, Amarillo, Citra, Lemondrop, Apollo, and Centennial cones are all crammed into one can!

Tasting Notes

A fruity aroma draws you in for a sip bursting with zesty lemon and tangy tangerine notes. The post-game citrus slices swirl into a medley of berries with a tinge of pineapple. Ending the gulp is a pleasantly piney assist, hoisting the trophy as you enjoy the warmth from the game-winning-worthy 8.1% ABV.

Really mild and smooth as a WCIPA, bit of hop fruitiness to it

if you love the original sticky hands, you’ll likely be disappointed with this. where the OG SH is dank and piney, this is lighter with a finish of melon.

4.24/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25 Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Look- Medium gold, very hazy, no visible particulate, frothy white head, above average head retention, average lacing. Smell- Tangerine, pineapple, medium-high strength of scent. Taste- Pineapple, tangerine, pine resin, lemon, medium strength of flavors. Feel- Between medium and full body, average carbonation, moderately creamy, highly bitter, mild astringency. Overall- Look was a nice medium gold with plenty of haziness. The bouquet was medium-high with notes of tangerine and pineapple. The flavors were a bit more complex, but not as high in strength as the bouquet. The feel was highly bitter and moderately creamy with a mild astringency. Overall this was an enjoyable experience with appealing flavors and scents, but not as delicious as the original.
