About This Beer

To craft their latest Super Slush Sour, Junkyard used heaps of real guava and passionfruit, alongside swirls of lactose and vanilla. It tastes just like 7-Eleven’s classic slushy, with an all-too-satisfying, creamy twist!

Tasting Notes

With each soft-as-snow swig, loads of lush tropical juices tango across the tongue. On the finish, flourishes of smooth vanilla and lactose offer a delicate creaminess — providing another all-too-satisfying dimension of flavor the 7-Eleven slushy doesn’t have!

Very strong guava, if that’s your thing. Not bad, but I personally wouldn’t buy again! Passion fruit didn’t come through for me.

The tropical aromas are on point. The texture is amazing. The flavors are good, but the combination of lactose with the vanilla and the guava lends to a somewhat bismuth flavor. The aftertaste is a really nice and appropriately acidic passionfruit. Between this and the Double Strawberry Terminal Delight, I felt like this has less cohesion.

Another absolutely stellar beer from Junkyard! A beautiful blend of sweet and sour up front from the guava and passion fruit with a tart finish. Packed with fresh fruit. Luscious and creamy from the lactose. Lovely color with a frothy head. Two Thumbs Up!
