Then, they recreated the flavors of a creamy, citrusy, marmalade topping by conditioning a Sour Ale on piles of toasted coconut, blood orange purée, and vanilla. A ribbon of silky smooth lactose makes it all milkshake-soft.

That’s why Sweets: Blood Orange Coconut tastes so much like the real thing — the brewers took the recipe for an actual fruit tart, and used it to brew a beer!
