About This Beer
For this treat, the Transient Stout savants started with rye in the mash and aged it in Eastern Kille and Elijah Craig rye barrels, soaking it in sweet, spicy complexity. Then they layered it with Madagascar vanilla beans, salted caramel, and cacao nibs from Violet Sky for sumptuous ice cream sundae nuances.
Tasting Notes
Opulent currents of spiced dark chocolate, crème brûlée, and rich espresso tones course through every thick, velvety quaff. Notes of bourbon toffee and dried fruit rise underneath, carrying into a warming rye finish. Careful though, it might taste like a confection from an artisanal chocolatier, but there’s an enormous 15% ABV hiding in these decadent depths!
