About This Beer
You can’t judge a beer by its label!
Exhibit A: this coconut Porter. The bloodcurdling beast on the can is downright freaky.
Crack open this brew though, and its deeply delicious dark chocolate flavors are as inviting as a lavish lava cake and as soft as your favorite college sweatshirt. If the images on this midnight-hued beer’s exterior had anything to do with its smile-inducing contents, it would be covered in puppies. And rainbows.
Tasting Notes
Each satisfying sip exudes massive flavors of Almond Joy, with gentle waves of caramelized brown sugar hanging in the mix. Strapped on top of the pillowy roasted malt base, it’s like slurping down a melty scoop of vanilla bean soft serve, topped with coconut shavings and chocolate sauce!

Really good Porter. Lots of roast but honestly not much coconut.

Coconut, coffee, malty, toasty, watery. This was the 1st beer Ive had since I discovered this brewery in Asheville, where I was greatly impressed. This beer did not compare to that trip

The coconut comes in and out,
but for that kind of flavor a little goes a long way. Big chocolate flavor, nice roasty malts. Lots of complexity for a modest ABV and a beer you can finish without exhausting your taste buds.

I get less coconut than expected but it’s a very pleasant taste. Easy drinking.
