About This Beer
Careful man, there’s a beverage here! And the brewers at New Image packed it with real coffee, heavy cream, vanilla, marshmallows, and lactose.
Tasting Notes
It tastes like something the Dude himself whipped up with top-shelf ingredients from Maude’s bar: chocolatey, creamy, and oh so smooth with a 10.5% ABV to keep your mind, you know, uh, limber.

I love The Big Lebowski. I love White Russians. I love Milk Stouts. I have no fucking clue why this beer is called a “White Russian Milk Stout.” It’s a stout, sure. But it’s got a smoky flavor to it that doesn’t remind me of Kahlúa or chocolate, or vodka.

Nice pastry stout. A bit of chocolate, not heavy. Nice smooth mouth feel.
4.75
Very subtle White Russian flavor. Little to no head but very robust in dark chocolate flavor. Outstanding

Great Milk Stout. A little more chocolaty than I anticipated. Still delicious!
4.5
smooth and chocolatey enough to double as a desert
3.0
overall tastes like very sweet alcoholic coffee - more black than White Russian.
each flavor (coffee, chocolate, lactose, marshmallow) comes through but overall it’s really just an over sweet stout.

Smooth mouthfeel (definitely don't taste the 10.5% until after), can definitely taste the coffee and cream. A real solid milk stout that I'd be up for having a second time and would recommend to others.

Very strong, and a bit chocolately. Not many other flavors for a stout, didn’t taste like a White Russian at all.
4.0
a bit much from the cream. I wasn’t getting much White Russian but more coconut. there were some good coffee notes, however.

Look: dark (almost black), little to no head and zero lacing as we drank it. Smell: hints of vanilla, chocolate notes, roast, and sweetness Taste: on the front end we get sweet sticky, hints of light chocolate, in the middle we get roast, on the end we get intense lingering vanilla (marshmallow?), soft sweet lingers, not boozy at all for a 10%. Feel: somewhat full, sweet sticky in the middle that hangs around in your mouth as we drank, little to no carbonation. Bren really likes this one because for a 10% the booze is hidden well, we think the marshmallow, lactose and cream they use really ease the booze, and add a nice mouthfeel smoothness. I liked the beer because of the title (you find a stranger in the alps). We live in the Portland OR area and love the mountains. The brew is a nice dark stouty-smoothness that we love in our dark beers and love the Cornell looking PNW dude on the label... lol... Cheers!

smooth and balanced, flavors as described, I enjoy White Russian cocktails, this was a nice take on it

The cream was just a bit strong - with almost a coconut finish. Had it been toned down a bit, I think I would have enjoyed it even more. Definitely smooth
